Day 103

April 2nd, 2014

Have you seen that video of Harry Styles dressed up in a body suit, running around and scaring people? No? Well I have and that video took place here at Primrose Hill. I was sad when Harry wasn't there to greet me, but I still had a good time at the highest hill in London. Its sad that this is considered high cause like hello have you seen Utah's mountains?

I "hiked" to the top of the hill and got to see this amazing view of the city.

Camille and I hung out on the grass, ate croissant donuts from Harrods and soaked up some glorious sun. Then, we walked around the neighborhood and got kinda lost but we didn't even care because this part of London is sooo cool! I didn't even know it existed, and now I want to visit it everyday for the rest of time.

Nice photo bomb

The rest of these are pictures taken from a bus as we drove through Chelsea today.

This morning we drove to Dover to visit the Castle and see the White Cliffs.

We went in supes scary sketchy medieval war tunnels as well. 100% haunted.

Photos taken from bus as we drove to Hastings

(my Mum would swoon over how cute this house was)

The Battle of Hastings is very significant in British history because it is where in 1066 the Norman invasion lead by William the Conqueror was fought. I was more interested in the beautiful flowers on the grounds than anything else though. These pink ones (possibly magnolias? Idk mum help me out) were my favorite. But now thanks to my horrible allergies I am suffering, due to stopping to smell too many flowers.

(these flowers look like sunny side up eggs)

Days 102

April 1st, 2014

Happy April Fools Days! This is my last blog because i'm running away with Harry Styles and living happily ever after! (and the tears stream down my face) April is my favorite month of the year. I love the Spring weather, I love that it is General Conference time, I love that you get a week off of school for spring break (usually, thanks a lot BYU), and I love that it is my birthday month. I share a birthday with Jesus Christ and the restoration of the LDS church.... so I am special I guess. Its been a beautiful sunny week in London town so far and I am excited for what this week has in store for me. Yesterday, Camille, Ali and I went to lunch at a super yummy place called Walk to Wok in SoHo. It was in the hipster area of town and so Danilee would have been very nervous. After, I went shopping at Primark (oh how I will miss Primark, but I really miss Target) and got Danilee a pink dress because I miss her and want to hang out and go out to lunch and spend (her) money. Only 13 more days!

I have started packing up our cell block, I mean bedroom. Even though its tiny and not luxury I am going to miss this little guy. I won't miss our crazy neighbors in the Netherlands Embassy who let their children play outside our window super early in the mornings.
