Hello people. Are you ready to see 18 billion pictures of the most amazing places I have and most likely will every go to, that won't justify the amazing-ness and beauty because the pictures were taken on a IPhone and even through human eyes its impossible to take in all the glory of Cornwall because its JUST TOO BEAUTIFUL....Have you seen the movie About Time. A lot of it is placed in Cornwall. That's where my obsession with this place began. If you haven't seen that movie SEE IT (its rated R though...but honestly could be rated PG) well here we goooooo off to Neverland Cornwall!
TINTAGEL
Hi. Welcome to Tintagel. I'm your host Jacqueline. Ill be taking you around today. Please follow me and remember to keep your hands arms feet and legs inside your doom buggy at all time. Alright, here we go.
As you can see here, this is the ocean. This is part of the Celtic Sea. Oooohhh Ahhhhh
The sisters who smize together stay together
Alright folks, if you could follow me up these stairs we will be ascending to heaven now.
Please gather around and I will tell you about this castle that sits atop the cliffs. First off, may I say if I was a princess at this castle I would be the fittest princess in all the land going up those stairs day after day. This castle is steeped in legend and mystery, reputed to be the birthplace of King Arthur.
The castle offers sweeping 360 views of the ocean, an open floor plan, and you'll save so much money since there is no need for air conditioning. It's a little worn down, but vintage is so in right now. With some great Target or Ikea finds I'm sure you could make it feel just like home.
Great. So if you could now please follow me we are gonna go walk around and see the sights from this great height.
(little mermaid rock)
To your right hand side you can see the trolls from Frozen sleeping. shhhh
To your left hand side you can see Americas Next Top Model
That concludes our tour. Thanks for joining me at Tintagel today. Please feel free to roam around the town. You could even go eat dinner at Olive Garden. Buh bye.
Soooo.... anyways. After Tintagel, we made our way to our hotel in Newquay. The hotel was called the Hotel Victoria, but it could have just been called Haunted Mansion because it basically was.
The view from my room at 5 in the morning. Not to shabby.
My view at 7 in the morning. Even better.
After a traditional English breakfast, including beans but not on toast (much to my disappointment) I went exploring with Taylor.
The coolest house in the world. Like come on really?!
Newquay was like a little beach town. I could live there. Except I could also just live in Whittier and just visit the beach every once in a while... ya I'll just do that.
This place is called Senior Dicks.....
LAND'S END
We packed up and were out of the hotel by 9 and headed for Land's End. Its the southern most point in the UK.
Too dark.
Too light.
Just right.
Isn't it lovely. Isn't it wonderful.
cool pictures ya? Lets see the reject pile.
That's I got for now. I'll post more about the trip soon.
xx Jac
